USS Midway Museum (Navy Pier)

The USS Midway Museum is a museum ship located on the Embarcadero in downtown San Diego, berthed at Navy Pier. The ship is the aircraft carrier USS Midway (CV-41), commissioned in 1945 and decommissioned in 1992. Opened to the public as a museum in 2004, it serves as a prominent waterfront landmark and centerpiece of the downtown waterfront neighborhood.
