Unity Bank plc is a prominent commercial bank in Nigeria, headquartered in Lagos with a significant presence in Abuja. Established in 2006 through the merger of nine financial institutions, it has grown to become a mid-sized financial services provider with total assets valued at approximately US$2.45 billion. Unity Bank operates a vast network of 242 branches across Nigeria, making it the 7th-largest bank by branch network in the country. In 2024, it merged with Providus Bank, further expanding its reach. The bank is publicly traded on the Nigerian Stock Exchange under the symbol UNITYBNK.
