Davis–Horton House (Gaslamp Museum) preserving downtown history

The Davis–Horton House, now operated as the Gaslamp Museum by the Gaslamp Quarter Historical Foundation, is one of the oldest surviving structures in downtown San Diego and anchors the Gaslamp Quarter’s historic preservation efforts. The mid-19th-century house contains period furnishings and exhibits about the neighborhood’s Victorian-era development and restoration. The museum offers guided tours and educational programs about the local history of San Diego’s downtown.
