Josephine White Block

The Josephine White Block is a historic mixed-use building located at 737-739 Cranston Street in the Elmwood section of Providence, Rhode Island. Constructed around 1894 for widow Josephine White, this three-story structure features a unique stamped-metal facade, making it the only known local installation by the renowned Mesker Brothers. The building includes two storefronts on the ground floor and four residential units above. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, highlighting its architectural significance and historical value.
