Woodland Park Zoo

Woodland Park Zoo opened in 1899 and today occupies roughly 92 acres in Seattle's Phinney Ridge neighborhood. The zoo houses several hundred species across exhibits such as the African Savanna and the Northern Trail, and it operates conservation and education programs. It is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and is a major regional attraction.
