Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden

Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden occupies an 83-acre campus of 19th-century former Sailors' Snug Harbor buildings on Staten Island that were repurposed for cultural and botanical uses beginning in the late 20th century. The site includes galleries, performance spaces, the Staten Island Museum, and the New York Chinese Scholar's Garden, and it presents rotating exhibitions, concerts, and horticultural programs. The ensemble of historic buildings and gardens is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
