The Majestic Theatre - downtown performance palace

The Majestic Theatre at 224 E Houston St opened in 1929 as a downtown movie palace and vaudeville house and today hosts concerts, Broadway touring productions, and community events. The theater's ornate interior and marquee have made it a long-standing landmark and a regular venue for performances enjoyed by local residents. It continues to be operated as a historic performance venue in downtown San Antonio.
