Mission Concepción - exceptionally well-preserved mission church

Mission Nuestra Señora de la Purísima Concepción de Acuña (Mission Concepción) is one of the four missions in San Antonio Missions National Historical Park. The mission's 18th-century stone church retains original architectural fabric and is noted for its well-preserved Spanish colonial-era murals and fresco fragments inside the sanctuary. It is frequently cited by historians and preservationists as the best-preserved of the San Antonio missions' church buildings.
