Carlson Center

The Carlson Center is a prominent 5,100-seat multi-purpose arena located in Fairbanks, Alaska, making it the second largest arena in the state. Opened in 1990 and named after former mayor John A. Carlson, it serves as the home for the University of Alaska Fairbanks Nanooks ice hockey team and hosts various events including concerts, tradeshows, and community gatherings. Notable past performances include artists like Elton John and the Foo Fighters. The venue also hosts the World Eskimo Indian Olympics and gained fame in 2020 for the first Alaska ComiCon, attracting fans and guests from various entertainment fields.
