Pulaski County Home

Pulaski County Home, also known as Pleasant View Rest Home, is a historic poor farm located in Monroe Township, Indiana. Built in 1881 and expanded in 1897, this four-story Italianate style building features distinctive red brick architecture, multiple porches, and a unique roof design. The property includes additional structures such as a Pest House from 1882 and a barn from 1929. As one of the few county homes in Indiana still in operation, it offers a glimpse into the region's history and social services. The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2015, making it a notable destination for tourists and researchers alike.
