Noah Snyder Farm

Noah Snyder Farm, also known as Snyder House, is a historic home located near Lahmansville in Grant County, West Virginia. Built in 1853, this fascinating site features a four-room log house that was expanded during the American Civil War with the addition of the Cooplinger section. A kitchen ell, dating back to between 1800 and 1815, completes the structure, all unified under a gable roof around 1870. The property also includes a wagon shed, storage cellar with granary, log stable, and smokehouse, making it a rich site for history enthusiasts and tourists alike. It was recognized for its historical significance by being listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.
