Motown Museum (Hitsville U.S.A.)

Hitsville U.S.A. is the small house that served as Motown Records' primary recording studio and headquarters from 1959 until the mid-1960s, where founder Berry Gordy and artists recorded numerous hit singles. The building preserves the original recording booth, offices, and exhibits about Motown's operations and artists. It operates as the Motown Museum, documenting Detroit's mid-20th-century recording infrastructure and music industry history.
