Jeppesen Terminal tensile roof at Denver International Airport

The Jeppesen Terminal at Denver International Airport features a white, tensioned Teflon-coated fiberglass fabric roof intended to evoke the snow-capped peaks of the Rocky Mountains. Designed by Fentress Architects and completed with the airport's opening in 1995, the peaked roofline is a defining visual element visible from both ground level and the air. The terminal's distinctive fabric roof has made it one of DIA's most photographed architectural features.
