Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Main Library (joint-use library)

The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Main Library in downtown San Jose is a joint-use facility operated cooperatively by the City of San Jose and San Jose State University. Opened in 2003, the building combines public library services with university collections and study spaces in a single facility. It serves local residents, students, and researchers and regularly hosts public programs, exhibits, and community meetings.
