Dorsey Hall

Dorsey Hall is a historic house located in Columbia, Maryland, representing early 19th-century vernacular architecture. Built on land originally patented in the late 17th century, it is associated with the prominent Dorsey family. The property has a rich history, including its operation with slave labor until 1864 and various redevelopment attempts in the 20th century. Although now situated at the entrance of a business park, Dorsey Hall remains a notable landmark, listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 2001, but is not open to the public.
