Trinity Church (Copley Square) - H. H. Richardson's architectural landmark

Trinity Church in Copley Square, designed by architect H. H. Richardson and completed in 1877, is considered the defining example of Richardsonian Romanesque architecture. Its polychrome masonry, sculptural forms, and integrated interior murals and stained glass had a formative influence on American civic and ecclesiastical architecture. The church remains an active parish and is listed as a National Historic Landmark.
