Paul G. Allen Center for Computer Science & Engineering (University of Washington)

The Paul G. Allen Center for Computer Science & Engineering at the University of Washington houses the UW CSE department and research labs, and it was funded in part by a major gift from Paul G. Allen. Opened in the early 2000s, the center consolidated UW computing research and teaching into a dedicated facility and carries the name of Allen in recognition of his philanthropic support for computing education and research. The building hosts coursework, research groups, and public events tied to the region's computing history and ongoing work.
