Herndon Terrace

Herndon Terrace, also known as the W.E. Thomson House, is a historic Greek Revival style home located in Union, South Carolina. Built between 1845 and 1848, this two-story dwelling is notable for its impressive columned porticos on three sides, featuring solid brick columns covered with stucco. The property also includes a former separate kitchen that is now attached to the house, as well as an old slave cabin and cistern. Recognized for its historical significance, Herndon Terrace was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1970, making it an intriguing site for both tourists and researchers interested in Southern architecture and history.
