Stone Manor

Stone Manor is a historic Italianate residence located in Homer Glen, Illinois, built by Elijah D. Gorham in the 1860s. The house showcases classic Italianate architecture with symmetrical design, arched windows, and ornate trim, constructed from locally sourced Joliet limestone. It features a unique cupola and a spacious interior with multiple rooms across two floors. The property remained in the Gorham family until 1906 and was later owned by the Frazer family until 1977. Recognized for its historical significance, Stone Manor was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, making it a noteworthy destination for tourists and researchers interested in local history and architecture.
