Palais Brongniart

The Palais Brongniart, located in the heart of Paris, was originally built in the early 19th century under Napoleon's direction to serve as the Paris stock exchange. Designed by architect Alexandre-Théodore Brongniart, this neoclassical building features a grand Corinthian colonnade and a central chamber adorned with medallions representing major European stock exchanges. Although it ceased to function as a trading floor in 1987, the Palais has since been transformed into an events center, hosting various activities including serving as the Team USA House during the 2024 Summer Olympics.
