William H. Coleman Hall

William H. Coleman Hall, originally the William H. Coleman Hospital for Women, is an academic building located in Indianapolis, Indiana, on the IUPUI campus. Constructed in 1927, it was one of the first medical facilities dedicated to women's health, specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. The hospital was established through a generous donation from William H. Coleman in memory of his stepdaughter and served as a teaching hospital for the Indiana University School of Medicine. After ceasing hospital operations in 1973, it transitioned to an academic center, supporting the School of Allied Health. Coleman Hall has been recognized for its historical significance in women's healthcare and medical education, with renovations completed in 2004 and a historic marker installed in 2007.
