BMO Tower (Chicago)

The BMO Tower, a striking 51-story skyscraper in Chicago's West Loop, stands at 727 feet tall and is notable for being the tallest building west of Canal Street. Completed in Spring 2022, it serves as the headquarters for BMO Bank and features 1.5 million square feet of office space. The tower's design includes unique terraced setbacks and V-shaped structural frames, and it is part of a larger development that includes a public park and a renovated hotel at Union Station. The site was previously an Amtrak parking lot, and construction began in late 2019, culminating in a ceremonial topping-off in April 2021 attended by city officials.
