Jennings Post Office

The Jennings Post Office, located at 118 West Plaquemine Street in Jennings, Louisiana, is a historic building that served as the town's post office from 1915 to 1976. This Neo-Federal style brick structure, designed by James A. Wetmore with contributions from Louis A. Simon, was renovated in 1979 to become the Jefferson Davis Parish Library. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, making it a notable site for tourists and researchers interested in local history and architecture.
