Wynkoop Brewing Company (founding by John Hickenlooper)

Wynkoop Brewing Company was co-founded in 1988 by John Hickenlooper and several partners in Denver's Lower Downtown (LoDo) neighborhood. Hickenlooper later served as Denver mayor, Colorado governor, and U.S. senator. The brewpub at this address is credited with helping launch Denver's modern craft beer scene and remains a functioning restaurant and brewery.
