Turner Home, Liverpool

The Turner Home, located in Toxteth, Liverpool, is a historic Grade II listed building established in 1884 as a memorial by Mrs. Anne Turner for her husband and son. Designed by Alfred Waterhouse in Gothic Revival style, it originally served as a care facility for sick and disadvantaged men and continues to operate as a residential and nursing home. The home features modern accommodations, communal activities, and a chapel with beautiful stained glass. Visitors can appreciate its unique architecture, including a life-size marble statue by Hamo Thornycroft, and enjoy the serene environment supported by a dedicated League of Friends.
