Sweet Georgia Brown's was a vibrant piano bar located in Savannah's City Market, co-owned by musicians Joe Odom and Nancy Hillis, who were featured in John Berendt's book 'Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil'. Known for its lively atmosphere, the bar was a popular nightlife destination where patrons enjoyed music from the 'Lady of 6,000 Songs', Emma Kelly. The bar's name pays homage to the classic 1925 song 'Sweet Georgia Brown'. Today, the location is home to a branch of Savannah's Candy Kitchen.
