Aurora Building

The Aurora building was a proposed skyscraper in Belfast, Northern Ireland, intended to reach 109 metres and 37 storeys, making it the tallest building on the island if constructed. Located at the intersection of Great Victoria and Ventry Street, the site is near notable landmarks like the Grand Opera House and the Europa Hotel. The development aimed to include nearly 300 apartments and substantial commercial space but was ultimately denied planning permission, with an appeal withdrawn in 2011.
