Ross Dam and Ross Lake crossing into Canada

Ross Dam impounds Ross Lake, part of the Skagit River Hydroelectric Project owned by Seattle City Light. Ross Lake extends north from Washington across the international border into British Columbia, Canada, forming a transboundary reservoir. The dam and reservoir are a defining feature of the Skagit Project’s upper basin and are managed as part of Seattle’s municipal hydroelectric system.
