Buffalo Soldiers National Museum

The Buffalo Soldiers National Museum preserves and interprets the history of African American soldiers known as Buffalo Soldiers and other Black military contributions. The museum's collections include uniforms, photographs, and personal artifacts tied to regiments that served from the post-Civil War period onward. It serves as a community museum and educational center in Houston's Third Ward.
