SoWa Art + Design District and SoWa Open Market

SoWa (South of Washington) is an arts and design district in the South End known for galleries, artist studios, and the SoWa Open Market held seasonally on Sundays. The market, hosted on the former industrial lots near 450 Harrison Avenue, features artisan vendors, food trucks, and local farmers and has become a weekly neighborhood destination since the mid-2000s.
