Mejlen

Mejlen, also known as Asylet Børnely, is a historic building in Aarhus, Denmark, originally constructed in 1768 and later transformed into a kindergarten in the 1880s to accommodate the city's rapid population growth. Designed by architect Carl Lange, the building features a blend of Gothic and Renaissance architectural styles, characterized by its red and brown brick facade and a small tower above the entrance. After serving various community purposes, it now houses the art gallery V58, making it a cultural landmark for visitors interested in history and art.
