Endangered Barton Springs salamander habitat

The Barton Springs salamander (Eurycea sosorum) is an endangered, aquatic salamander species endemic to the Barton Springs segment of the Edwards Aquifer in Austin. Individuals are found in the spring outflows and associated subterranean waters connected to Barton Springs Cave.
