Washington Gold House

Washington Gold House, also known as 'Mountain View' Farm, is a historic home located near Gerrardstown, West Virginia. Built in 1854, this two-story, L-shaped brick dwelling showcases Greek Revival architecture and features a Victorian entrance porch added around 1890. The property includes a carriage house from the 1890s and the Rippey cabin, dating back to 1760, which belonged to the original owner. Recognized for its historical significance, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984, making it a noteworthy site for tourists and researchers interested in American history and architecture.
