Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum

Built in 1842 in the Greek Revival style, the Bartow-Pell Mansion is a surviving 19th-century country estate located in Pelham Bay Park in the Bronx. The mansion was restored and now operates as a historic house museum interpreting the domestic life and material culture of the era. Its architecture, period rooms, and landscaped grounds illustrate suburban estate life north of Manhattan during the 19th century. The property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is managed by a local preservation organization.
