Twilight Epiphany Skyspace (James Turrell) at Rice University

James Turrell's Twilight Epiphany Skyspace, dedicated in 2013 on the Rice University campus, is a site-specific light and architecture installation that presents daily sunrise and sunset light ceremonies timed to change interior lighting in relation to the sky. The enclosed pavilion includes seating for viewers and is designed to frame and alter perception of the sky through controlled light sequences and sound. The work is a permanent public art installation accessible to Rice visitors and the public during scheduled events.
