Williams Tower

Completed in 1983 and designed by Philip Johnson and John Burgee, Williams Tower is a 64-story skyscraper in the Uptown (Galleria) area. It rises to about 901 feet (274 m) and was originally known as the Transco Tower. At the time of its completion it was notable for being one of the tallest buildings in the United States located outside a downtown core. The tower anchors a multi-building office complex and sits adjacent to the Gerald D. Hines Waterwall Park.
