Canada Place

Canada Place, located on the scenic Burrard Inlet in Vancouver, British Columbia, is a striking architectural landmark known for its distinctive fabric roofs that resemble sails. It houses the Vancouver Convention Centre East, the Pan Pacific Vancouver Hotel, and serves as the main cruise ship terminal for Alaskan voyages. Originally built in 1927 as a shipping facility, it underwent significant redevelopment in the late 1970s and was inaugurated by Queen Elizabeth II. The site gained international attention during Expo 86, hosting the Canada Pavilion, which attracted over 5 million visitors.
