Niels Esperson Building (Esperson Tower) - Italian Renaissance Revival skyscraper

Completed in 1927, the Niels Esperson Building is a downtown Houston skyscraper noted for its Italian Renaissance Revival styling and a distinctive cupola modeled after the Giralda bell tower of Seville. At the time of its completion it was among Houston's tallest buildings and it remains a prominent historic tower in the downtown skyline. The building has housed offices and retail and has undergone preservation work to maintain its architectural details.
