Augusta Harmonie Verein

The Augusta Harmonie Verein, located in Augusta, Missouri, is a historic clubhouse built in 1869, notable for its unique 1+1⁄2-story frame structure with board and batten siding. Measuring approximately 35 feet by 95 feet, it features a weatherboarded addition from around 1970 and an octagonal bandstand dating back to 1890. This site, which also serves as the American Legion Post 262 and Grand Army of the Republic Hall, was recognized for its historical significance and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1995, making it an interesting destination for tourists and researchers alike.
