Copperas Cove Stagestop and Post Office

The Copperas Cove Stagestop and Post Office, located in Coryell County, Texas, is a historic site built in 1878 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1979. This limestone structure, the only remaining building from the original town of Copperas Cove, showcases the vernacular stone architecture of 19th century Texas. Originally serving as a stage relay station and post office, it has also functioned as a home and grocery store. Today, it operates as the Martin I.
