Billado Block

The Billado Block is a historic commercial building located at 371 Main Street in Enosburgh, Vermont, recognized as the town's oldest surviving brick commercial structure. Built around 1885 during a period of growth spurred by the arrival of the railroad, this three-story Italianate building features distinctive architectural elements such as brick corner quoins and segmented-arch windows. Originally constructed for William Billado, a Canadian immigrant who ran a general store, the building has served various commercial purposes over the years and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007. Today, it continues to house businesses and apartments, making it a notable landmark for visitors and researchers interested in local history and architecture.
