Hold Street Marketplace

The Hold Street Marketplace, now known as Downtown Market, is a historic market hall in Budapest, built between 1892 and 1896. Located in the 5th District, it features an eclectic architectural style and originally housed 190 permanent and 80 temporary stores, along with various facilities including a coffee shop and a restaurant. After a renovation in 2014, it has transformed into a vibrant produce market, making it a must-visit destination for tourists and researchers interested in local culture and culinary offerings.
