Hugh McCulloch House

The Hugh McCulloch House, located in Fort Wayne, Indiana, is a historic Greek Revival style home built in 1843. Notable for its elegant architecture, including a front portico with Doric columns, the house was originally owned by U.S. Treasury Secretary Hugh McCulloch and remained in his family until 1887. The property underwent significant changes when it was purchased by the Fort Wayne College of Medicine in 1892 and later by the Turnverein Verewoerts in 1906. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in American history and architecture.
