Old Methodist District Parsonage

The Old Methodist District Parsonage is a beautifully preserved 19th-century Italianate residence located in Romney, West Virginia. Built between 1868 and 1882, this historic house served as the district parsonage for local Methodist churches. After its church use ended, the Long family acquired and restored the property, which now showcases an impressive collection of 18th and 19th-century furnishings and folk art. Recognized for its historical significance, the parsonage was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005, making it an intriguing destination for tourists and researchers interested in local history and architecture.
