Sloane Robinson Building

The Sloane Robinson Building, located in the Newman Quad at Keble College, University of Oxford, is an architecturally striking structure designed by Rick Mather Architects. Completed in 2002, it features a studio theatre, the O'Reilly Theatre, which can accommodate between 128 to 250 spectators and hosts a variety of performances managed by the Martin Esslin Society. The building is notable for its sustainable design, including thermal connections to the ground for energy efficiency, and has received multiple awards for its architectural excellence. Named after the hedge fund Sloane Robinson, founded by Keble alumni, the building reflects the Victorian style of its surroundings while incorporating modern glass elements.
