Reuben H. Fleet Science Center

The Reuben H. Fleet Science Center in Balboa Park opened in 1973 and is known for its interactive science exhibits and an IMAX dome theater. The center was established to provide hands-on science education and public programming for families and schools and remains a major cultural and educational institution within the Balboa Park neighborhood. Its distinctive circular building and dome are widely recognized in the park.
