Redesdale Hall

Redesdale Hall, also known as Moreton-in-Marsh Town Hall, is a historic municipal building located in the heart of Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire. Opened in 1887, it was constructed in memory of John Freeman-Mitford, 1st Earl of Redesdale, and designed in the Free Tudor style by architects Sir Ernest George and Harold Peto. The building features a striking façade with a clock tower, stained glass windows, and a grand assembly hall. It serves as a versatile events venue and has a rich history, including being the site of Elton John's record label launch in 1972. Today, it remains a focal point for local civic activities and community events.
