Beeches (Frankfort, Kentucky)

Beeches is a historic brick house located in Frankfort, Kentucky, originally built in 1818. This notable Federal-style structure is set in a park-like setting and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. It stands out as one of only two surviving nineteenth-century buildings along the Leestown Pike in Franklin County, with the other being Glen Willis. The house features a one-and-a-half-story section dating back to around 1800, alongside a two-and-a-half-story main block, both constructed of brick, with later additions enhancing its historical charm.
