Seward Park (South Seattle peninsula park)

Seward Park is a 300-acre peninsula park on Lake Washington that includes old-growth forest, shoreline, trails, and an outdoor swimming area, making it one of Seattle's major neighborhood natural landmarks. The park contains a 2.4-mile loop road popular with walkers, runners, and cyclists and hosts community events and environmental education programs. Seward Park's stand of mature trees and shoreline access have made it a longtime recreational and ecological anchor for the surrounding neighborhood.
