Lane-Bennett House

The Lane-Bennett House, also known as the Joe Bennett House, is a historic Georgian-style home located near Raleigh, North Carolina. Built in 1775, this one-story, L-shaped dwelling features a steep gable roof and a charming shed-roofed front porch. In 1980, the house was relocated and restored, along with its original smokehouse. It was recognized for its historical significance by being listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, making it an intriguing site for tourists and researchers interested in early American architecture and history.
